We will have the next meeting of the Agile-Carolinas group on
Thursday, Oct 5th.
Mark Pushinsky will lead a discussion (free) on his theme: "They
don't grow avocados in Texas". I believe this means: "You need the
right soil conditions to grow Agile. Do you have the right soil
conditions?" Mark is a senior manager at a large company in Virginia
implementing agile throughout the company. Generally it is styled as
Lean - Agile (and works with Lean, used mainly on the operations
side). Mark has a senior role with their agile adoption. He is a
Certified Scrum Master Trainer. Mark's a smart and personal guy, and
you will enjoy this discussion.
We have a great group of people and you will enjoy the discussion.
The meeting will start at 6:30pm with free pizza and networking. At
7pm Mark will start his talk/discussion and we will go until 8:30pm
or so. Location in Charlotte:
101 Cameron Applied Research Center, UNC-Charlotte Campus
Park in Cone Visitor Lot, walk to Cameron, building 42 on the map.
Please RSVP to jhlittle@... if you will be attending.
