There has been sooo much going on the last few weeks. With the
wedding coming up and all that fun stuff...I am trying to post as
many details about the faire as I can to keep everyone in the loop.
We are still looking for a location to host this event. If anyone
knows of any large open areas or parks that would be perfect, PLEASE
let me know. I have yet to hear back from Pinnancle Mountain and am
keeping my eyes and ears open to all suggestions.
We will need as it looks, at least 15+ acres to support this faire,
WOW! I know I did not think this was going to grow soo fast. But it
is and I would like to have the SCA jousters be a part of this
event, so I am looking for a place to have the joust arena. Thats 3-
5 acres right there! I have gotten ALOT of possitive feedback from
other guilds, SCA groups and other ren faire patrons that are
looking forward to coming and camping and sharing in the merryment.
So we need lots of camp space. =)
I am sooo excited about this, I have all the Committees just about
filled. Thanks to everyone who signed up to see this event be the
best Ren faire in the South! (not including Texas, I can't hang with
those guys yet! LOL)
If anyone has any ideas, suggestions, land etc.. and would be
willing to help out, host or just lend an idea or two... please
contact me off list and we can chat. You are all wonderful, Thanks
for all your support!
I know this has been offered by many of you, so for all of you
attending other faires over the upcoming months, please send me your
address off list and I will send you some business cards and
brochures to hand out to merchants and patrons alike. Thanks for
