SkySafari Plus is awesome. I used an iPhone 3GS and had SkySafari Plus
installed; I recently switched to Android with a Galaxy SIII and simply
had to have it there too so I bought the Android version as well. If
$15 is too much for you, just go with the $3 version (but I warn
you...you might like it so much you'll just upgrade anyway!).
First, you'll probably want to compare versions here:

overkill for my phone. But I can control my scope with it.
(And no, I don't have any relationship to the software vendor. It's
just an amazing piece of software.)
Now, if someone would just port Satellite Tracker over to Android I'd be
able to track the ISS using my phone!
