The Friends of the Reuben Hoar Library have purchased a pass to the
Peabody Essex Museum in Salem. The museum features art of Asia,
Oceania, Africa, and of Native Americans. You will also see three
centuries of the art and architecture of New England. Current
special exhibitions are "Carved by Nature: Untamed Traditions in
Chinese Decorative Art", "The Art of Shopping in China",
"In Nature's Company" showing nature's inspiration for twenty
Massachusetts artists, and until June 5 "Island Thresholds:
