we dont seem to use as many of those as we did. I think if I,m honest the nicer we make them, the quicker they vanish. So we now tend to let the hospital use their own boilable ones. Angel pockets especially in cream/white/ pale green cottons, satins etc we can unfortunately always use especially the 6 to 8 inch little ones. At this early stage they are not sure of the sex of baby and hence the white/cream. In any materials that absorb ( like bib material) we are always short of simple approx 8 inch squares that the hospitals can use as dribble cloths. They use them in lieu of bibs as they do not tie bibs on in any case.They also use quite a lot of sheet type covers 9 inches to a foot wide and about 24 inches long. These can be put under babies head, tucked under the mattress and can de removed and replaced easily for babies who are sickly.again pastel plainer colours. No fancy sewing needed just finished off or even just over locked edges. These are just some of the other things we do if it helps. Come back to me if you dont understand or e mail me on chris@...
