TLS 0.3.1 has been released. It's a bug-fix release, primarily, to fix
problems with the secure server.
What is it?
TLS stands for "Transport Layer Security". It includes SSL, and is the
proposed standard that is superceding SSL.
Macrobyte's TLS is software which lets Frontier/Radio operate as a
secure web server ("https"), and also allows it to communicate with
secure web sites as a client (request secure pages and web services).
This is probably the last version of TLS that will be released before 1.0.
(This could be of interest to Radio-Dev'ers especially because it
makes it possible to run a secure RadioCommunityServer... although
some updates would be needed to make RCS and Radio use the right URLs,
TLS.root includes a "tcp.httpsClient" (note the 's') which makes the
secure communication possible.)
