This is great news to put a halt to the illegal latino workers. However, there's still issues to worry about in this country:
'highly skilled workers' (H1B). These are the Indians/Asians that are imported by companies under the guise we need them because we aren't smart enough in this country to place people in those jobs. It's simply not true, and companies have brainwashed society by telling them this lie. There are H1B schoolteachers in the Washington DC area! That's not highly skilled labor, but they're cheaper I guess. Plus, I've got 2 degrees and I'm in the technical sector, but Indians
are taking my job each time because employers know these people can be worked around the clock, which means for less money. If these people complain, they're fired. I'd almost feel sorry for them, if I didn't know all the crooked things these people do when they get here that they're not supposed to do. On top of that, college educated people like me are always unemployed now because of these jerks.
When you write your representatives, please remember to also state that you don't want these H1B imports here taking our jobs. The cap for these people will be almost doubled if immigration reform goes through, raising our
unemployment even further. Women from the United States that obtained college degrees don't deserve to be forced into becoming escorts or to register on 'Sugar Daddy' sites because of imported workers taking away our ability away to get a job.
