Actually, the Jets remind me of the Red Sox..strong out of the gate...but
weak coming around the last turn. But seriously, I might be in the minority
on this one, but I look at the Jets as our biggest problem this year. The
only saving grace is that Vinny "I like to throw 4th quarter interceptions"
Testaverde is their QB. Their offense could be lethal, and they retooled
their defense pretty nicely. Of course, their defensive line is largely made
up of drug offenders. But back to the offense, they have Coles, Chrebet,
Moss, Martin, and Lamont Jordan backing up Martin. Jordan has looked very
good every time I've seen him. They really do have some weapons. They lost
some guys on their offensive line, but I still think it will be respectable.
I'm telling you these guys are going to be a problem for the Pats. My early
season prediction is that the Pats will beat the Steelers, but then lose to
the Jets the next week (and you don't know how much it hurts me to say
Miami, while a strong team, does not scare me as much. Their offensive line
has lots of problems, and Fiedler does not make me shake in my boots. I
still respect their defense, but it's not as good as it was a couple of
