I was wondering if I can change my Post to "Female a Cappella newcomer wants to sing; South King County". I've been getting responses from as far as Canada and Olympia; sometimes for tenors.
I am a soprano with a pretty wide range.

Our chorus is made up of about 40 members. We are a very competitive group and are always striving to make the best A Cappella music we can.
We are average singers but we sing above average in quality due to our highly talented and energetic director, Don Rose.
We meet in Bellevue from 7-10pm every Wednesday evening.
Please let me know if you will be visiting us this Wednesday and if you have any questions. Feel free to contact me by e-mail or by phone.
Hope to see you Wednesday.

Well, Realtime is looking for a tenor. Must kick ass and be available to
tour the world and make money. Are you a tenor?

This group is a great first place to start - there might be someone starting
a group or in a group that needs new members who'll see your message
A second place to check is CASA.org, the website of the Contemporary A
Cappella Society of America (of which I am a board member), where there's
tons of information about a cappella, starting and managing groups, group
directories, etc. CASA also has state and regional ambassadors that you can
contact who are in the know about what's happening in this region.
