Hi, Fote, thanks for your support.
Before I posted my problem, I had tried your solution and it worked
well. It's my fault that I didn't state my question clearly.
What I wish to do is my Iframe content window go with my mouse
on "detail link" of every record, istead of pop up in the same
position. Is that doable? (like
sorry it's in Chinese, but you can still see the page popup when
mouseover the second column)
The webpages that I am developing is for internal envionment, for now
I don't have URL for you to view. I hope you understand my question.

> Subject: [OLmws] how to make an iframe content acts like a tooltip
> I am developing a page that shows records from a database table,
and every record contains a "detail" link which leads user to veiw
another detail page. it is required that the user doesn't need to
click into the detail link but just mouseover them (pretty much work
like a tooltip, but its content is from another dynamic page).
> Please help, thanks in advance.
> The support documents for using iframe or object to import
documents as DHTML popup content are:
> The page you are developing to show records from a database table
would import the overlibmws.js core module and the
iframecontentmws.js support script which defines the OLiframeContent
(src, width, height, name) function, or the objectcontentmws.js
support script which defines the OLobjectContent(data, width, height,
name) function. One or the other of those functions would be the
lead argument of overlib() calls with the function's src or data
argument being the URL ("detail" link) for a detail page, e.g., if
you are using php it would be 'foo.php' for dynamic documents instead
the 'foo.html' for static documents used in the support documents'
> If you have any problems implementing that, inquire again here,
ideally with a URL illustrating what you've done thus far so that we
can look it over and give you explicit advice on how to fix it up.
If you don't have any problems, please post a URL that could then
serve as another example for others.
