Hello, everyone. I've been using OS/2 since about 1995, I guess, maybe a
bit longer, and my preferred word processor is WordPerfect 6.2 for DOS.
I found information about this mailing list on the "WordPerfect for DOS
I was pleased to find exported settings files for WPDOS 6x on this
list's website, and after some download trouble (circumvented by our
host) I checked them out. Very educational... I was pleased to learn
that WP62 uses DPMI memory (whereas previous versions did not) and after
increasing that setting my setup is quite a bit snappier.
It's apparent to me that the creator of the files on the list's website
liked to use his WP in text mode, probably in a window. Me, I use mine
full-screen and WYSIWYG. Plus, my memory settings are very different
