It is precisely at this time, when Christians are fasting and praying and
preparing for confession that they should be reminded of the great sin that
hangs over those who have compromised with the faith by entering into
communion with the false Serbian church. This is not "Church politics" (how
often do I hear that term used by people who themselves are betraying the
faith by their communion with Church politicians!), but a vital question of
eternal life and death which is relevant at every day of the year and
ESPECIALLY NOW. Christ is going to His Golgotha for our salvation. Let us not
crucify Him by our betrayal of Him and His holy faith! As Fr. Seraphim Rose
pointed out, we can all be like Judas...
