This Sunday, June 5th, the John Link Project will be performing throughout the afternoon at the New York Botanical Garden, as part of a festival of music and dance honoring the spirit and memory of Isadora Duncan and Gilda Radner. The John Link Project, featuring guitarist John Link, vocalist Erika Banks, and bassist Christopher North, will be performing arrangements of music by Chick Corea, Miles Davis, Kenny Dorham, Bill Evans, Paul Simon and Stephane Grappelli, and Earl Zindars, as well as original compositions by John Link. They will also be accompanying the dancing of Lori Belilove & Company http://www.isadoraduncan.org , the resident performing company of the Isadora Duncan Dance Foundation, with arrangements of music by Chopin, Debussy, and Satie.
The festival will run from noon until 4 o'clock and will take place at the Everett Children's Adventure Garden in the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx. Admission to the festival is included with admission to the Garden.
