You'll find that, while there may be a fair number of subscribers to
this forum, most of the folks are what would be described as lurkers.
They don't necessarily post but they do get the posts either via email
or by visiting the site itself. Additionally, most folks don't
participate in the FTF madness for various reasons. Your recent FTF
challenge certainly generated a ton of activity and good-natured
rivalry. The enthusiasm and speed of response by the more high-tech
group was amazing. It used to be that the FTF game in Chico was fairly
active but, in the last year and a half or so, it's fallen off to
almost nothing. With the influx of new cachers (combined with your FTF
Curse series) it's been extremely active again.
Don't feel discouraged that there wasn't a large response to the
suggestion of a new FTF challenge. Even if the more "crusty" cachers
such as myself don't get out and participate much I'm pretty sure that
there will be folks who get into the spirit of the challenge and give
you a run for your money.

I am new here too. I am picking what I want as far as being part of
threads or not. I was hoping you would join the conversation about FTF
challenge, started last week. There are not many interested in that cuz
there has been little traffic on it, but I know you would have some
good ideas. Thanks
