This is indeed a bug and has been fixed in the upcoming final release.

This is by design. NoteTab Pro works the same way.

This is also normal. The apparent differences are due to the way each
input control handles line breaks.

Use ^$GetEditorType$ to customize your code based on the edition of
NoteTab being used. This way you can take into account potential issues
due to the different nature of the input controls.
