berlios.de is the source snapshot and binary release area only. It is
*not* the reference repository.
And that page is automatically generated by berlios.de - it cannot be
edited by us.
If you want to be part of the bleeding edge of the repository
rationalisation effort, then do the following:
mkdir /home/slug ; cd /home/slug ; wget
There is *no* documentation for this, so please do not ask. You must
be on the nslu2-linux IRC channel if you are testing it. If you are
not willing to read and understand the Makefile to understand what it
does, then please don't use it yet. I repeat, this is *bleeding*
edge. You are expected to be able to fix problems with the bleeding
edge Makefile yourself, and contribute the patches. You are expected
to be able to work out what tools requirements you need before running
this Makefile, and be able to install those yourself without
Yes, that's a long list of expectations. That's the status of the
rationalisation effort at the moment. We need people who are
experienced enough to be able to run it without too much assistance,
but not too close to the development of it to be no longer able to
write good documentation for new users.
The expectation is that the initial users of the Master Makefile
congregate in the #nslu2-linux IRC channel, and collaboratively
generate wiki documentation for it's tool requirements and it's usage.
Unless you are willing to be part of that group developing the
documentation for those who will follow you, then please don't use it
