I have had pains disappear after pointing the part of the body
that is in pain toward the sun. All it took was about 30 minutes in
the sun. Hemmorhoid pain, tooth ach, aching shoulder, It even seemed
to make a hangover disappear quickly. Not sure if sunlight would
take care of pain from a spider bite.

possibly a half hour. I read this in Krispin Sullivan's stuff, who's
done a lot of research on vitamin D, and I'll try to trace it back to
some primary research and let the list now if I find anything. Until
then, I'm not positive about how important the not washing thing is or
how long you should wait.
