The secret is out! The new Harry Potter book, which will hit virtual and
brick-and-mortar bookstores on Saturday, July 8, will be titled "Harry Potter
and the Goblet of Fire." The title had been a closely guarded secret until a
London newspaper uncovered it, which prompted the book's American publisher,
Scholastic Books, to officially reveal it on Tuesday. The three Harry Potter
books to date--"The Sorcerer's Stone," "The Chamber of Secrets," and "The
Prisoner of Azkaban"--have been an enormous success in the United States and
the United Kingdom. Written by J.K. Rowling, the tales focus on the
adventures of a boy wizard. Some 28 million copies have been sold worldwide.
No other information other than the title is being released, especially the
plot which has been kept under wraps in an effort to heighten anticipation.
Here's a fun book: The fourth book will be 752 pages. Scholastic plans an
initial printing of 3.8 million copies for "Goblet of Fire" in the United
States, while Bloomsbury, the British publisher, is printing 1 million
