Of significant importance in our opinion is the "essay/exchange",
"Friends Don't Let Healthy Friends Commit Suicide" prompted by a
commentary written by J. Neil Shulman. I've described the contents
as an "essay/exchange" because it consists of my initial response
to Neil's piece, and then my reply to his response to me.
Well, you can all read the original, comments by others and mine.
As I've noted in a conclusion, the principles outlined apply to more
than the ultimate negative action against one's own self.
The other major item is the upload of our latest health parameters,

weeks - the really big items necessary (for us to live here for long
periods) to be performed by Paul are mostly done, with more time being
spent on writing by both of us and also some enjoyable hiking
(including great blackberry picking the last couple of weeks :)
This afternoon I uploaded to MoreLife.org updates to several pages,
mostly in the Personal Section including our statistics, diet regimen,
more diet ideas, and mental/physical activities. Also 5 pages of
photos that cover Olafur's visit to us in Casa Grande AZ are now
online; our outings to various places gave me lots of opportunity to
use our digital camera ;>) http://morelife.org/personal/
As always, recent change dates are noted along with links for major
areas in both MoreLife.org and SelfSIP.org on the homepage of
Paul has been active recently not only at sci.life-extension, notably
in a thread on happiness that developed out of one started on articles
at wikipedia (thread start:
- on which Olafur was also very active and articulate), but also
with work on the new Natural Social Contract. The "light at the end
of the tunnel" with this major redraft is actually visible. While we
thought that was the case at the end of last year, temporary
difficulties with consistency were encountered - always a serious
issue in philosophical writings and often not properly addressed by
many in that field - and our return to Ontario with the physical work
needed delayed all Paul's philosophical writing. Now he is moving
along with great vigor, but I hesitate to give any projection for
uploading since I was wrong before. I'll just say, "Stay tuned for a
big upload relatively soon."
The most recent update to MoreLife.org - made late last night - took longer than others for reasons that mainly had to do with issues related to our return toMessage 1 of 16 , Jul 5, 2007View SourceThe most recent update to MoreLife.org - made late last night - took
longer than others for reasons that mainly had to do with issues
related to our return to Ontario. The cottage and our computers
required a considerable amount of attention and although I was able to
work on a number of pages weeks ago, the final review was only
completed within the past few days.
At the end of the first week after our return when I couldn't be of
any help to Paul who was dealing with his own computer problems (and
I needed to stay offline so that he could download), I created one
photo page from pictures I took last summer. I'm still way behind in
getting many more photos onto pages, but at least all are uploaded
from my camera to my computer's hard drive.
Our June personal health statistics are available (they are made
available every 3 months) along with updates to several of the pages
related to our dietary regimen - the eating routine during our AZ to
ON travel and the ingredients in our Terrific Trail Mix are among the
many items. Our chocolate and cocoa usage have been updated, chocolate
getting a lot of mainstream media attention again I see -
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/6266256.stm We and lots of other
serious life-extensionists have been enjoying the health (and taste)
benefits of low sugar content chocolate for several years. The 50
pounds of undutched cocoa we bought a couple of months ago is getting
lots of use.
Our supplement regimens have been updated along with the ingredients
spreadsheet. Paul completed his review of these just recently, taking
time away from numerous tasks of various types related to the cottage,
computer and our finances. The lab work analysis is not complete
although reference to several items has been made in some supplement
change items. Hopefully these analysis pages can be completed in the
next several weeks while we also complete some much needed cottage
maintenance - like replacing the 9 support posts for the dock, 4 of
which we recently found to be completely rusted through.
All of the above are accessible starting at the Personal Index page
that has a recent photo of us - I think it forthright to let readers
know what we're looking like in addition to our vital statistics and
health practices. http://morelife.org/personal/
Lastly, the (-)BPAP page from the Promising Research Chemicals section
has been updated with new findings linked to the Reference Indexes -
from the Science Index page under Supplements (Use of Chemicals
Supplementary to Diet and Exercise) and Reaching (Your Potential).
As always, I appreciate getting email from anyone finding bad links
and typographical errors. I do put the pages through various checks
commands (at least not in anyway I know of).
Comments and questions regarding any of the updates or older items are
welcome here at MoreLife Yahoo from those qualified to post - please
use your full name.
