Is it the G8689(I Have a LMS hi torque that is the same as that.) Be sureto clean it up real good and check to be sure all is tight.

also get some good refeence books. Or at least find some feed speed charts, thiswill help save you some bits. I like Machine shop practice(Vol2 covers mills) The Home Macinist's Hand Book Is a good beginer book. Just remember it is a miniand needs to take lighter cuts, but is capable of good resault if you keep that in mind.
