Dr. Dennis Weaver will deliver the keynote address, Delivery Transformation in an Era of Change, during the opening plenary of this year’s conference. He is the Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer for Southwind, a division of the Advisory Board Company, an organization focused on improving the performance of health system sponsored physician practices and assisting health systems with the development and implementation of physician alignment strategies. Dr. Weaver has more than 20 years of senior executive experience in a broad range of healthcare leadership positions and maintains board certification in multiple specialties.

Ms. Chavez will deliver an update on the United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Farmworker initiatives. She has made a lifetime commitment to public service, civil rights and he labor movement. For years, she worked with the United Farmworkers Union, the organization her grandfather Cesar Chavez helped to co-found over 40 years ago.
