Oh gosh, I haven't checked email until now. Here's the info so you can come another Wed. Don't think anyone met up except maybe at the library though.
Location (for now): Meet at Rockland Park (between the library and Rockland Rec Center)
Time (for now): Anytime between 10am - 3pmish or later (depending on the weather and each family's day)
In the winter (or on rainy days or even nice days when some folks would like to be indoors for a bit) we meet at the Rockland Rec Center first (from 10am-11:30/11:45am). Then we can do the park or library thing or head to the UU Church anywhere between noon and 2pm. Note: Lynn (a person in our group) is checking on the cost for families to use the Rec Center, so that is not finalized yet. Also, other folks are checking out the cost to rent space elsewhere in case there is a better deal or better facility. I'll let you know what happens.
Here are two yahoo groups where people post various activities and communicate locally:
Hope you had a great day in spite of the rain! We were so busy this morning with a midwife appt in Belfast at 9 (baby's head is down and all is well - The weight I am at now though is how much I think I weighed when I gave birth to Katie. But I weighed more when I got pregnant this time. No big deal unless I get a whopper of a babe like Li was!), apple/pumpkin picking (missed this due to time) and corn maze in Jefferson (got there and had fun for this part even in the rain - Would you like me to pass on homeschool activities to you in case you can make them?), and soccer game in Hope (totally wet game, but Katie and all of us had fun!!).
