There are still a few expense paid scholarships available to qualified men (ages 18-22) to attend the Atlantic Harmony Brigade's 2012 "eXtreme Quartetting"⢠invitational weekend convention in Wilmington Delaware, Aug 2012.
Applicants need not be members of BHS or experienced quartetters or in a quartet but they must have strong alternative musical and/or performance training and/or experience and references sufficient to meet AHB qualification standards otherwise.
The program is for highly motivated, disciplined, intermediate singers with more than a cursory interest in quartet singing. The weekend includes a two-night hotel stay, meals, first class learning materials (sheet music & learning tracks for 12 champion ship songs), informal nonstop quartetting and quartet partner switching, an adjudicated random-partner quartet contest, a staged show performance, and general barbershop fraternity and mayhem.
