America,<br><a href=http://www.meditationsociety.com target=new>http://www.meditationsociety.com</a><br>you will find an article on Jnana Yoga in the
Concepts of Meditation section that you may find useful.
Also, while there, in the links section, check out the
Divine Light Society. They have many books available for
download. Any that have "Vedanta" in the title, as well as
Jnana Yoga will be very informative. I also want to
refer you to the lead article in the sample issue of
The Inner Traveler. It refers to a Jnana Yoga
technique called Neti-Neti that helps put things in
perspective. It can be found
at:<br><a href=http://www.meditationsociety.com/its9091/index.html target=new>http://www.meditationsociety.com/its9091/index.html</a> <br>Lastly, please know that all you are going
through will lead to your spiritual advancement. You can
only get steel by putting iron through the fire.

I would suggest visitng the website for the meditation society
http://www.meditationsociety.com/. There are lots of techniques
listed there. Try a few different ones until you find one that is
easy to follow. Perhaps the first thing to try is to just sit in a
quiet place, close your eyes, and focus on the sound and feeling of
breath. Just breathe natually. Notice your thoughts, but don't hang
onto them. Just watch them come and go. Watch and listen.
I hope this helps. Meditation can seem difficult when you are first
starting out (and even after you have been doing it a while for that
matter). Just try it and be patient and perserve. The hardest part is
the actual committment to sit down and do it. Just sitting quietly
and watching your breath is more beneficial than you may imagine.
