I really don't use this 505 very much these days...
But I want to Keep it!
there are 6 inputs on one of my mixing boards which are reserved to the 505, just in case I want to use it...
And the way I go nowadays when I do it is total improvisation...
Last track I did with it was an evening of amusement with a friend & my wife...
Totally recorded live in one short from scratch...
A few settings and go!
Une fuite au milieu (funny French atmosphere at Lord Bugs home...)
The way I dispatch sounds.. No rules... I just tweak buttons (Eq, aux send etc...) And I listen to my monitors if it fits..
Strange question... I guess it's the only way to use it..
How do you do?
New song "Edith"
Date : 02/28/06 14:20:20
Sujet : [mc505] How are you recording your mc505?
Just curious how people are integrating their 505's into a DAW world.
Are you recording the main outs on the 505 in one pass, performing the
song as you go?
Do you use seperate outs, and if so, how do you choose which sounds go
to which outs?
Are you recording each part one at a time into the DAW, and using that
to arrange the song?
What other methods are you all using?
