Vasalgel now has a Facebook page (yes, we entered the modern world!). You can "Like" it for more frequent updates than the newsletters. There is a signup to be notified of progress (the link is there and on the Parsemus Foundation website).
Parsemus Foundation also has a Facebook page. Parsemus sponsors studies on ultrasound, nonsurgical advances for dog and cat sterilization, and breast cancer treatment improvements, not just developing Vasalgel.
In case you don't already know about it, there's a very active RISUG/Vasalgel discussion group on Facebook. Right now there's a discussion going on about Gandarusa; some people have found a source justicia gendarussa capsules (presumably crushed plant, not the gandarusa abstract) and one guy is trying it.
The Male Contraception Information Project has a Facebook page in progress (not much there yet, but you can "Like" it and will get the first posts as they come out). I'm about to post some info there on gandarusa that I got when I wrote to the developers asking them if they knew anything about this product being marketed.
Parsemus Foundation has been trying to raise money for the next stage of the "Clean sheets pill" research, but the TechCitement story on it doesn't seem to be attracting the same wild level of attention as the one on RISUG and Vasalgel did. Funny, you'd think the world would be interested in an HIV transmission-reducing pill, but apparently HIV is a lot more remote to a lot of people in the U.S. these days than the fear of pregnancy...
We're still in the process of a redesign for the MCIP website (once it's into Wordpress it'll be a lot easier to update), and MaleContraceptives.org is on hold for the moment, so for the next few months Facebook will probably be the best source for updates. MCIP newsletters will also resume soon.
