Yes, Cold War/Guild Weekend have just been moved to that Weekend, but we have had our hall booked, and have been advertising, since the end of March, so there we are.
ST VITAS' DANCE AND MUSIC WEEKEND 1-2 September
Two days of dance and dance related classes as well as music classes, plus food and more music and dancing in the pleasant environment of All Saints'Church Hall.
As there has been no bid to hold a Bal d'Argent meeting this year we will also be holding the Guild of the Silver Rondel Annual Meeting and any testing for Rondel(dancer) or Semibreve(musician) membership that's wanted. For details see the end of this message.
There will be a Buffet Feast and a Ball on the Saturday night and lunches will also be served.

MEMBERS: Full Weekend $45, One day + Feast and Ball $35, Feast and Ball only $24, One day only $12
NON-MEMBERS: We will have to charge you $5 extra. The whole $5 goes to SCA Lochac's insurer and we have the dubious honour of being one of the first events to have to collect it.

Silver Rondel/Silver Semibreve Membership:
If you are a dancer you need to show three members that you are able to do a dance from each of the following categories well.
Bransle (as a set of at least three such dances)
Any other dance indicative of a style not already given.
If you are a musician you need to be able to show three members of the order, at least one of whom must be musically competent, that you can play dances from the same types and categories well .
