I have a Dell Inspiron 7500 and I am attempting to install Red Hat
6.2. I am following the instructions on setting up X (Method 1) by
Steve Hsieh. I understand that you have to replace the XF86Config
file and the XF86_Mach64 binary.
My question is: Once I download these files in Windows 98, how do I
access these files from the command line in Linux? Is there a
particular folder where I should save these downloaded files in
Also, I do not have any tools that would allow me to graciously
access files in Windows from Linux.
All help is sincerely appreciated. Thanks.
