USB is simply the wire that connects your device, be it a mouse , a keyboard, a barcode wand, a serial port, a parallel port, a graphics tablet, a hard disc. All of these devices now come in USB wired form. That is irrelevant to Liberty as it access these devices as it has always done, via the appropriate Windows driver.
So a USB based serial port is simply another Comm port to Liberty, A barcode wand just looks like keyboard input to Liberty, a hard disc just like any other hard disc.
So if you want more info be more specific about what you are trying to connect to.
