Can someone with legal expertise decipher in this document:
- who really is "One Ledgemont LLC", the plaintiff suing our Board of Appeals (since Beal sold 95 Hayden Ave to Hobbs Brook after the Board of Appeals allowed Ledgemont 3 following TM's 2009 upzoning of the property)?
- why is the plaintiff suing our Board of Appeals?
My 3rd question is not factual, but I am curious:
- who is poised to win what if our Board of Appeals loses?
This is all too complex for a numbers person like myself to understand... What I do know is that our Town budget is foregoing $500,000 in taxes each year because our Assessors have not increased the assessment of 95 Hayden Ave by $14 million after TM upzoned it, regardless of whether Ledgemont 3 is actually built and of any lawsuit -- $14 million is what Hobbs Brook publicly said they paid to Beal just for the right to build Ledgemont 3.
