Hoi,

Does anybody know how the flat area of a Arc is calculated?

The specs say this for the 460:
Area= 4,6 m2
wingspan = 460 cm
Maximum Chord = 150 cm
Wingtip Chord = 82 cm

Say that the LE is straight and the the TE goes in a straight line
form the tip to the center.

Then the flat area would be around: 0.82 * 4.6 + (1.50-0.82)*4.6/2 =
5.3 m2.

Are the given chord wrong, the area or am i missing something?
