Eight warbler species hilighted the day Sunday, 28 Apr., at
Butterbredt Spring. Two GREEN-TAILED TOWHEES toiled in the leaves.
Other reports from the 3-day festival included a male ROSE-BREASTED
GROSBEAK, LEAST FLYCATCHER, and a VERY early WILLOW FLYCATCHER.
Three trip leaders heard and saw the Willow and agreed there was no
question. Another WILLOW FLYCATCHER was reported from Butterbredt by
a trip leader. It is a week early for Willows, but perhaps this is
an anomalous year.
I encourage other participants in the festival to post their
sightings, please. Kudos to Bob Barnes for a wonderful experience.
