I hope someone hasn't sent the Cry Me A River version out (sounds like a much younger voice) and is playing a hoax on people. Listen closely to the contest song and then River and see if you hear what I am hearing.

There were 1000 sold of the original CD for charity back in
1999, and yes I saw an interview on the web with the guy who dreamed up the idea of this CD and was instrumental in the production. He appeared very sincere and authentic...He knows Susan Boyle.
I also heard the song from the 1999 CD with Susan Boyle. I
got it through someone who shared it with me....yes all four minutes
plus of it, complete with no breaks. All I can say is WOW! Power, control, gutsy emotion with lots of feeling from the heart! Just
like a lot of Elvis singing!!
As for fooling us, I think its the same tone, and voice....10
years have gone by, but the voice is still there now.. ..How many of
you have heard Orion?? Same voice and somewhat same style as Elvis, It could fool a lot of people but he is missing that certain something,
lacks the warmth and feeling as Elvis..Elvis sounds like he is living it
with the extra emotion, no wooden mechanical tone which is similar to poor
acting...By the way, the woman who wrote " Singing For Dummies" book
had Elvis at the top of her list for male singers, and Karen Carpenter
for her favorite female vocalist. And this lady knows her stuff,,PRO!
In closing, I really hope Susan Boyle will put out a CD with her
singing some of the old standards and favorites....I'm sure to
buy it!! Your comments please ?????? Harv Moberg
