Thank you, thank you MIke for a well thought out answer. I understand where you're coming from with your message in reference to mine. Even if Elvis's death were faked, I wouldn't have blamed him for doing it, not just to get his precious life back but also to avoid more abuse as it was told he had endured after his concerts allot. I read where he fought them off for 5 years but then succumbed to them finally. How tragic, if all this was true.
He loved God and felt emotional when the Stamps quartet sang his favorites. Yes, I remember hearing in my collection of Elvis songs, his recording of, "Why Me Lord." I had wondered why that one was also chosen now I know. He wondered about his big success in life but yet it was he who promised his mother as a child that he would make allot of money someday and give her and 'daddy' a big house and lots of pretty, nice things that they wouldn't have to be poor anymore!!
