> Has anyone actually seen a Joe Cell installed on a an engine and
> working ?
Yes, probably 20 or so that I could vouch for.
> I am interested in building one....
Great, you have come to the right group of people. I am sure that we
will help you to the limit of our abilities and understanding.
> ... and have ordered the book from the Nutech website.
Good move, however please be aware that the book is a guide and not a
100% guarantee that the cell will work for YOU.
It is similar to buying a Bible, after reading it (many times), there
is still no guarantee of a seat in heaven. <g>
> I find it hard to believe that if this is possible,...
You should find it hard to believe, that is the right starting point.
You should also find it hard to believe in aliens, UFO's, fairies,
honest politicians and similar.
BUT, does that mean that they do not exist?
The Joe cell is highly unusual, misunderstood, novel, cantankerous,
unique, simple, complex, and a device that uses a form of energy not
understood or discovered by the vast majority.
Hmm, come to think of it, it sounds very similar to my wife. <big
> ...why hasn't a graduate engineering student not done his/ her
thesis on this ?
Would you do a thesis on a topic that has no other papers written on
it? Would you do a thesis on something that cannot be measured by
conventional test equipment? Would you do a thesis on something that
is virtually unknown, and borders on the lunatic fringe? Would any
university allow a thesis on this topic?
I would think not. Most students do a thesis to obtain a
qualification and not a headache and years of frustration, not to
mention the sneers from their peer group.
> Why is it not being built by a private company ?
It is built by a private company, a very private company.<g>
Mark, think of the implications of mass-producing a device that would
overnight make gas, electricity, and petrol companies obsolete,
Do you really think that a multi billion International structure
designed to slowly 'milk' the end user would let you make it
redundant without a fight? You are dealing with rock-hard
businessmen, whose only rule is to make more profit, at any cost and
with any means.
A few Joe cells here and there does not 'hurt' the system. If you
keep a low profile, and use it for private use, you may even live to
see old age. <sad grin>
> Appologies for being doubtful that this is possible.
Never ever apologize for doubt; it is your best friend. Doubt is the
only thing that will keep your money in your pocket, and doubt is the
only thing that will protect you (in part) from the hundreds
of 'sharks' that are circling and waiting to add you to
their 'another sucker list'.
> So, if someone has actually seen one working, please post a
> ...would like to correspond with someone who has seen one run an
> engine or built one that works as it is proposed.
That is the sole function of this group. Read the postings and
updates, look at the pictures and absorb all the group contribution.
It will take you many weeks if not months to 'come up to speed'.
If you would really like to build a working cell, the road is long
and hard, and many builders have fallen by the wayside.
You must be prepared for many failures before the cell will smile at
If you are not prepared for a long haul, may I suggest that you build
a remote controlled helicopter. They are about the same price and a
lot of fun. <g>
< Like I said, I have ordered the book and would like to make this
I hope that it works for you. Nutech also sells come low quality
videos on the subject that may be of use.
