2010 Crime and Gang Prevention Summit
Mayor Reed cordially invites you to join us at the second annual Crime and Gang Prevention Summit. Sponsored by the Mayor's Gang Prevention Task Force, the event will bring together representatives from the City of San José, non-profit organizations, and local neighborhoods to build and expand partnerships that will help make San José a safer place to live. The event will be held:
Saturday, January 23rd
8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Roosevelt Community Center
901 East Santa Clara St.
San Jose, CA 95116
The summit will feature a number of hands-on workshops, a presentation on the Mayor's Gang Prevention Task Force and a community resource fair (click here for the Summit Agenda). Workshop topics will include: Parent Engagement, Gang Awareness 101, the Safe School Campus Initiative and San José's Community Response Protocol.
All interested individuals are encouraged to attend. Please RSVP online by Thursday, January 21.
