Israeli occupation army enters more Palestinian towns, kills more civilians

Israeli occupation troops, backed by tanks, armored vehicles and
American-supplied helicopter gunships, entered several Palestinian towns
throughout the West Bank on Saturday.
Palestinian sources said Israeli troops encircled the towns of Tulkarm and
Qalqilya in the northern part of the West Bank, with tanks taking position
at hilltops overlooking the centers of the two towns.
In Tulkarm, Israeli tanks strafed Palestinian neighborhoods with heavy
machinegun and light artillery fire, killing at least two Palestinians and
injuring several others.
The two were identified as Mustafa Mahmoud saleh, 53, and Maher Abu
Hasaneh, 33 years.
In Qalqilya to the south, the Israeli army also indiscriminately strafed
city-center with heavy machinegun fire, killing a civilian who was standing
outside his home.
The victim was identified as Mustafa Nofal.
Palestinian medical sources said five other civilians were injured, one
Meantime, the Israeli occupation army enforced its positions in three other
Palestinian towns it entered on Friday, including Ramallah, the de facto
West Bank capital of the Palestinian Authority.
There, the occupation army imposed a curfew in large parts of the town,
barring civilians from leaving their homes and threatening to shoot-to-kill

south west of Bethlehem, when Israeli tanks indiscriminately strafed
residential homes with heavy machinegun fire.
The woman was identified as Miryam Isbeih.
A man, identified as Abdul Qader Akra died in similar circumstances Friday
night in heavy Israeli bombardment of the Ayda refugee camp inside Bethlehem.
The third victim was identified as Mousa George Eda, a Christian, killed
reportedly while sitting in the veranda of his Beit Jala home.
The death of Eda angered the Christian community in Beit Jala.
"This situation is untenable and unbearable. We want to ask the Christians
of America. Why do you support those criminal Zionists to murder your
Christian brothers in Palestine?" said one of the local priests, identified
as Abuna salim.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Authority continued to send out desperate
messages to the world community, appealing for intervention to stop the
Israeli rampage of terror and murder in the West Bank.
