I just watched a report on CNN about a mysterious radio outage-failure
in San Diego yesterday. In one area of the city, people's remote
controls just suddenly went dead. Devices using a radio wave signal
like for TVs & small appliances, car alarms, garage door openers, etc.
went haywire then failed
completely. So car alarms were going off, but
the key remotes wouldn't work. They didn't say how long this lasted and
I'm still researching the news story. But guess what's in that same
area of San Diego? - the US Naval Communications Station.
