One of the things Prof. Deming says in the report is that many
hearers do not hear the hum all of the time, which leads him to think
it's not caused by LORAN-C. I do hear the hum 24/7. The only thing
that stops it for me is masking by ambient noise. Do any of you have
this experience too? It made me think that maybe what I'm hearing is
a low-frequency tinnitus, which is discouraging. At least if we can
find an outside source, we may be able to do something about it!
