To me it seems that the grass roots movement for clean energy is gaining
momentum. The solution comes up every morning and it makes sense from a lot
of different viewpoints.

Physicians for Social Responsibility is pleased to announce and to invite
you to the release of Degrees of Danger: How Smarter Energy Choices Can
Protect the Health of Texans. Degrees of Danger is a state-specific series
examining the public health impacts of climate change, air pollution, and
fossil fuels. The Texas report also highlights Texas' vast, but fairly
untapped, potential to be a national leader in renewable energy production
PSR will hold press events on June 17 in Houston, June 18 in Austin, and
June 19 on San Antonio with the help of Dr. Fernando Guerra, Director of
Health for the San Antonio Metropolitan Health District, Dr. Martin Lorin of
Texas Childrens Hospital, Dr. Stuart Abramson, Assistant Professor of
Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine, and State Representative Miguel
An embargoed copy of the report is attached and copies of the full report
will be available at www.psr.org on June 17. A general state media advisory
and three city-specific advisories are also attached for more details.
