Has anyone had any experience working with the
National Historic Preservation Act, particularly Sec.
106? I'm looking for a relative "expert" or two who
can give me some insight. I am a paralegal, but I'm
looking for some cases where the act has been
sucessfully used in regard to theatres. I have a
circumstance where about $25 million in federal
funding is helping build a new stadium multiplex one
block from the 1928 Thomas Lamb treasure. According to
the act, some sort of impact study should be done
regarding the registered historic landmark.
