The oilskin coats are marvellous! Very heavy (!) but my Australian
"Driza-bone" short coat lives up to it's name.(see
for pic's no commercial interest here)
It keeps water out and I haven't had any problems with transpiration on a 4
day trip in Queensland during the early spring, with a lot of rain and a lot
of walking, or any other trips for that matter
It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most
intelligent, but the one most responsive to change.
