Can anyone tell me how to change the RTTY AFSK frequency in Transmit? Using Version 6
Here is the problem. I have the Waterfall/Spectrogram set in receive for 830 – 1000 Hz ( 170 Hz shift ) and I receive RTTY Very Well. However, when I transmit, I see in the waterfall/Spectrogram display my transmit signal at 1430 – 1600 Hz ( 170 Hz shift ) .
I tried many times calling a station who was CQing simplex and he did not return my call. I closed DM780 and used TrueTTY and he replied first call. This tells me that the transmitted audio frequencies that I saw in DM780 were really at the higher end of the audio range of 1430 – 1600.
I cannot find any place to make the RX and TX audio the same. Normally in other programs, the TX and RX audio is always the same, no matter where you set the RX markers in the audio spectrum.
All is OK in PSK. I tried PSK31 and TX = RX. @ 1000 Hz audio or anywhere else that I set the RX Yellow line.
