This coming Saturday, cycling pilgrim Stephen Craven will be leading a a church crawl from Coulsdon and around the Downs to the south thereof. Stephen's plan is to set off from Coulsdon South station at 11:00, after training it from New Cross Gate at 10:38, following a 10:00 cycling start at Cutty Sark Gardens.
My plan is to ride to Coulsdon from Lewisham, following the Waterlink Way as far as South Norwood Country Park. Then the A222, A215 and A232 to Croydon, and the A23 south through Purley - around 23 kilometres as the wheels turn.
If you wish to join me on the ride to Coulsdon, I shall be setting off from the Loampit Vale entrance to the Waterlink Way in Lewisham, aka Cornmill Lane…

The path entrance is by the railway arch, just to the east of bus stop "F".
Meet in Lewisham at 09:00. This should give us time to rest our derrieres in Coulsdon before the arrival of Stephen et al.
