Well, this is good and bad at the same time. Good - because this is the way
you wanted it to be. Bad - because there is no visual feedback on pg3 of what
is going on.
Unfortunately, goscreen has nothing to do with all this. When you double-click
a file in Explorer, it is only between the OS and the app that "opens" this
file - goscreen does not participate in this scenario.
As for the OS, it works more or less consistently. But applications behave
differently. IE creates a new window and open this file in it. Your network
browser (I bet it is not IE) opens the file in already existing window. MS
Word, when opening a second window, activates the first one for a very short
while (eg. IE does not), etc.
All this has nothing to do with goscreen, but this could create "weird"
interactions with goscreen...

I did as you suggested and selected "ignore" in "hidden

Things are now as I like them to be.

I just opened Internet Explorer on pg1, went to pg3, and double-clicked

Now I have two IE - one on pg1, second on pg3. That is, everything was
So, let us go to details.
What is the OS?
What is your network browser?
What is selected in "goscreen properties" - "hidden

I just downloaded a number of virtual Desktop managers
to evaluate, and goScreen certainly seems the best. It
has a very nice look and feel.
But one thing... when I for example have my browser
running in window 1, and explorer in window 3; and in
explorer I click on an html file, goScreen moves the
browser from window 1 to window 3, and I would prefer
it stays in window 1. For now I am happy just moving
it back by using the window map, but is there a way of
preventing it happening?
