Thank you so much for remembering our service people.
I have a son, son-in-law and other extended family members who our serving now. My son is in the Navy and was in the Mediterranean during Iraqi Freedom. He has just left again to go back to the Mediterranean for his second deployment. My son-in-law is in the Army - 82 Airborne and has fought in both Afghanistan & Iraq. He saw action up front in both theaters. In Iraq, he lost one of his men in the Humvee he was driving (it was hit with a rpg) and the others were injured. Up until then, they had all made it through Afghanistan together without any injuries. My niece has also been in Baghdad with her dog and should be coming home soon. All of these young people are in their early 20's and all volunteered right from high school. I'm so proud of our young people who are putting their lives on the line.
Please keep all the men & woman who are still serving in your thoughts, because of them and others like them, we have been fortunate in having a free nation.
