FOOTHILL BICYCLE INITIATIVE
We are a bike-advocacy organization that strives to promote cycling for the benefit of bike-riders like you, the community and the environment; we campaign for bike-friendly neighborhoods, raise awareness of cycling issues and encourage people to improve their own quality-of-life by getting on a bicycle as often as possible.
The Foothill Bicycle Initiative publishes the "Bicycle Advocate," which is distributed in numerous bike shops, as well as to more than 400 local cyclists, community leaders and city officials in more than 16 communities.
The grass-roots bicycle advocacy organization, which encompasses an area roughly from the Los Angeles River and 5 Freeway to the San Gabriel River and 605 Freeway, holds regular monthly board meetings the 2nd Thursday of every month; all are welcome.
