Around the Bend (2004) 2.5/5. Average in every dept. Always nice to see
Christopher Walken on the screen, even when he is dancing in that embarassing
late night scene (when he's supposed to be on his death bed, almost !)
Excessive KFC product placement as the boys go from one to the other cos' it
was in an ol' man's will, why didn't they put some of the ashes in their
barbecue sauce though ? No really, I think that would improve the TASTE !!!
Awful soundtrack, the music was way too loud and hearing those lousy songs
made me want to cover up my ears each time, no, I think there's 20 songs in
this movie and I only liked one, something with 'Hi Ho Silver' in the lyrics,
I have to research this la-ter. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0384810/
Mr. Orange : "What's the commode story ??"
Holdaway : "It's a scene, man, an amusing anecdote about
a drug deal. Memorize it. (...) Look, man, an undercover
cop's got to be Marlon Brando. To do this job, you got to
be a great actor. You got to be naturalistic - you got to
be naturalistic as hell. 'Cos If you ain't a great actor,
you're a bad actor, and bad acting is bullsh*t in this job."
Tm Roth as "Mr. Orange" & Randy Brooks as "Holdaway"

"Goodbye, my darling - Hello Vietnaaaam ...
A hill - to take - a battle - to be woooon ...
