I was reading the "chat" with Warner Home Video executives (from March ). For those who haven't heard of this, hometheaterforum.com chats with the people about upcoming releases. So far in 2004 they've talked with Fox, Criterion and Warners. And they also talk to the producers who do the extras. The chat transcripts can be found here: http://www.hometheaterforum.com/files/chat.html .
I don't know if certain parties know there's a new DVD of "Fearless Vampire Killers" coming this year. And they mentioned their upcoming "King Kong" (original) 2-disc, that they're "doing a film element restoration on it from a gorgeous nitrate element located recently in Europe. Well worth the wait". A special ed of the original "Mighty Joe Young" is also on the way. They also mentioned a "full photochemical film restoration followed by a new transfer" of "The Searchers" is being done for it's 60th anniversary in 2006. They said that new edition of "Blade Runner" is being held up by legal issues. They're doing a special ed of "Freaks'. And I can't wait for their 25th anniversary edition of "Body Heat".
And this is just the start. These chats are basically people running off titles and the execs saying "yes" of "no". For DVD fans, it's worth a look.

Yeah, I read all this last March. Glad to see you're finally getting on top of things, Jeffery.
Can't wait for THE FEARLESS VAMPIRE KILLERS, and I know Matt Totsky's excited too.
