Subject: [FH] TJ Update and Compounding Pharmacy
Hello All, I recently posted because my TJ had his first CHF episode two weeks ago Sunday. After two weeks of assisted feeding, he finally ate on his own Sunday night and continues today. His lasix was reduced to 1/4 of a 12.5 mg pill per day and I gave him 6-12 ml pedialyte per day for 3 days prior, which I think helped him. He is now on 1/2 1.25 mg pill of vetmedin 2X day, 1/2 2.5 mg pill of enalapril 1x day, and 1/4 pill of lasix 1x day.
Before this, I was unaware of his heart disease. He had been to the vet many times due to a lagging URI, that finally cleared up. His heart was listened to many times.
Compounding Pharmacy Info:
In the past, I have used a compounding pharmacy in Columbus IN whose has a very thorough pharmacist. It is a small brick and mortar shop with attentive staff. Their website is under-construction but here is their physical information.
Pharmacy Care Solutions

Phone (812) 376-9650
I am in a technical profession and attentive to details; and the Pharmacist at Pharmacy Care Solution impressed me. Hope this information helps someone.
